Removable slam lid rack case is sometimes favored over standard rack with lids that come with latches, because they are easier to use, more streamlined design, and can take up less space both in storage as well as on location.Â
This 4ru rack case is designed to house the LSC Powerpoint 3 phase distributor. Other 3RU equipment can fit in this case although adjustment of rack rail locations and gap maybe required.Â
The front and rear lids are equipped with Penn Elcom L2455 mini slam latch and catch plates to allow removing and putting on the lid a one handed operation. The lids will also take much less space then the standard removable lids with latches. In case they are lost, it would be easier to replace because the only thing that matters is the lid size.
This case uses extrusions on front and back to work not only as reinforcement of the edges, but also as door stoppers.
