The WS-AX is designed for venues and organizations where the road case never hits the road. Instead, they are a mobile workstation system within the premises and facilities either mostly stationed, or occasionally moving between rooms and building. The key is the audio visual system within the workstation case is all setup with cable management and ready to go.Â
In a school or church environment, there is a need to have expensive audio visual and lighting consoles as well as various rack mountable processors, microphones, cameras secured while not in use but are still configured to be ready to go whenever they are needed. This will prevent assets loss or damages and reduce the amount of time required to unpack, setup, pack down into storage room then do it all over again next time.Â
The WS-AX features a double bay rack system allowing for ample room to mount your processors, wireless mic receivers and rack mount drawers for storage. It has a pull out platform on which you can place your audio, lighting console or video switch and have them all connected with cable management done internally in the flight case.Â
A rear removable slam lid gives you good access to the back of the rack whenever maintenance or update is required in the rack spaces. A trap door with brush cable path is allowed so you can run power and data cables through cable path while having the trap door shut during operation.Â
The front lid of the AV workstation comes with built in foldable legs and can be setup next to the main case to provide extra desk top space for your colleagues to work from.Â
