Built Like a Tank: WBP Birch Plywood
At its core: 12mm WBP birch laminated plywood — layers of strength, bonded with phenolic resin. Translation? It laughs in the face of heat, moisture, and general tour abuse. Rainstorm in Denver? Dust storm in Vegas? You’re covered.
Each panel is CNC-cut with tight tolerances and hand-assembled by people who care about more than just “good enough.” Our quality check process is brutal — if it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t ship. Period.
Features That Work as Hard as You Do
Let’s talk usability. This road case has a lift-off lid for quick access — no more rearranging your entire FOH table just to plug in. Castors are integrated into the lid itself — flip it, roll it, done. It glides when you need it, stays put when you don’t.
Inside, we’ve carved out space below the console for essential storage — power supplies, USB drives, that weird DMX terminator you swear you’ll need someday. It’s all right there, not rattling around your gear bag.
No cutting corners on the corners. We use Penn Elcom hardware across the board — steel ball corners, latches that snap shut like they mean it, and recessed handles that won’t dig into your palms. Your Ion XE deserves a case that shows up every night and performs like a pro.
