Corner castors are very popular when building suitcase-style road cases. For example, keyboard cases, product sample cases, etc.
It comes with heavy-duty die-cast housing to fend off impacts while in transit. The housing comes with 35mm offset allowing to hug the single angle edged extrusions just like a steel corner. The wheel is rated 150kg ready to tackle the most challenging load you can put on it.
When building a case using corner castors, you will also need a 20mm high rubber or steel feet to keep the road case level when sitting on the floor. You might also need a pull-out handle depending on the size of the road case. We recommend Penn Elcom h2001 surface mount pull out handle for heavy-duty use, or Penn Elcom 4080/4081 as a lightweight option.
If the case is more than 800mm tall you can use a recessed or surface mounted handle on its top side instead.
