Designed for Two Meyer UPJ-1P Speakers
This transport case is designed to protect two Meyer UPJ-1P speakers used in concert touring, live events and professional stage audio. It gives audio hire companies, venues, production crews and touring teams a practical way to transport, store and access two speakers in one dedicated road case.
The design is built around the Meyer UPJ-1P speaker, but similar speaker models from other brands may suit a related case layout after slight adjustment. Cabinet size, handle position, grille shape, feet, mounting points and connector placement can all affect the final fit. Speakers often look straightforward until you try to fit two of them neatly into one case with accessory storage as well.
Built and Finished for Touring Use
The exterior panels are made from 12mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. Weather and Boil Proof plywood is constructed from layers of hardwood bonded with strong adhesive, offering good resistance to moisture, weather changes and regular transport conditions. Armor’s WBP plywood uses birch veneers with phenolic resin glue, helping the case handle movement between trucks, venues and storage areas.
Inside, EVA foam is used to provide cushioning and support for the speakers, helping absorb impact and reduce movement during transport.
The case is fitted with 2mm heavy duty corner and edge extrusions together with genuine Penn Elcom hardware to protect high-contact areas. All panels and hardware positions are CNC cut for accurate sizing and consistent fit.
After machining, the case is assembled by experienced workers and checked through a standard QC process covering lid fit, hardware operation and overall build quality, ensuring it is ready for regular event use.
Lift Off Lid with Custom Accessory Storage
The key feature of this Meyer UPJ-1P road case is the lift off lid design. Once removed, the speakers can be accessed and operated without being fully taken out, reducing handling and speeding up setup between truck, stage and storage.
The case also includes custom cutouts for accessories, keeping cables, brackets and small items stored with the speakers. This helps reduce loose gear and keeps everything easier to manage from one job to the next.
Optional custom engraving is available for branding, identification or asset tracking, useful for teams managing multiple similar cases.
For professional audio crews, this Meyer UPJ-1P speaker case focuses on practical handling as much as protection. The two-speaker layout, lift off lid and custom storage help make transport more organized and setup more straightforward.
