AGUILAR DB810 BASS CABINET ROAD CASE WITH REAR ACCESS SLAM LID
$1,126.13
This Aguilar DB810 road case is made for transporting one DB810 bass cabinet in concert touring, live events and stage audio environments. Built as a large amplifier case with a fitted layout, it helps protect the cabinet while keeping setup practical for crews who need to move fast. The rear slam lid gives access to the back of the amplifier, so the cabinet can be operated without being lifted in and out of the case each time. That is useful, because this is not exactly the sort of cabinet anyone wants to casually wrestle before soundcheck.

Built for the Aguilar DB810
This transport case is designed for one Aguilar DB810 bass cabinet, a large cabinet used in concert touring, live events and stage audio work. It is a proper Aguilar cabinet road case, made for protecting a serious bass rig during transport, storage and repeated venue load-ins. The case exterior measures 1231.2W x 713.1D x 796.3H mm and has a net weight of 58.90 kg.
The design may also suit some large bass cabinets or amplifier cabinets from other brands, but similar does not always mean identical. Speaker layout, handles, rear connections, feet and cabinet depth can all change the fit, so slight modification may be required before using this design for a different model.
Panel, Hardware and Build Quality
This case uses 9mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. WBP stands for Weather and Boil Proof, which means the plywood is made to handle moisture and changing conditions better than standard board. Armor’s WBP plywood is made from premium birch veneers bonded with phenolic resin glue, giving the panels good strength and resistance to water and weather. For touring equipment that might move from a hot truck to a damp loading dock, that matters.
The case is fitted with 2mm heavy duty corner and edge extrusions, along with Penn Elcom hardware. The panels and components are precision cut by CNC machines, so the parts match the case design accurately, not “close enough if you squint.” After cutting, the case is assembled by trained workers who are used to building transport cases for audio, lighting and production gear. Each product then goes through a standard QC process to check fit, hardware, alignment and general finish before it leaves our workshop.
Made to Stay in the Case
The most important feature of this large amplifier case is the rear slam lid at the bottom of the base. This gives access to the back of the amplifier while the cabinet stays inside the case. For a heavy Aguilar DB810, that is a very practical detail. Instead of lifting the cabinet out every time it is needed, the crew can open the rear access and connect the required cables with the cabinet still protected by the road case structure.
This makes the case especially useful for touring, backline hire, venue work and production companies that need quick setup and pack-down. The cabinet can travel in the case, be positioned on stage, connected from the rear and operated without unnecessary handling. Less lifting is usually good news for the crew, the cabinet and everyone’s lower back.
Practical Touring Protection
As a bass cabinet road case, the purpose is not only to cover the outside of the Aguilar DB810. It also needs to make the equipment easier to manage during real event work. The fitted design helps reduce movement during transport, while the external hardware and extrusions protect the edges and corners that often take the first hit during loading.
This Aguilar DB810 road case is a practical option for anyone needing a large cabinet case for live audio equipment. It is built around protection, access and repeat use, which are the things that matter most when the cabinet is moving between gigs instead of sitting safely in a studio looking handsome.
