This transport case is designed for one ETC Ion Xe lighting control console with Fader Wing F20, giving lighting operators and touring crews a practical flypack setup for concert touring and live events. Built and Finished for Touring Use

The exterior panels are made from Armor P901 9mm laminated panels with a glossy black honeycomb finish and black ABS interior. The panel core uses 9mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. Weather and Boil Proof plywood is made from thin layers of premium hardwood bonded with strong adhesive, offering good resistance to moisture, weather changes and regular transport conditions. Armor’s WBP plywood uses birch veneers bonded with phenolic resin glue, helping the case handle movement between trucks, venues, warehouses and control areas.

The case is fitted with 2mm heavy duty corner and edge extrusions together with genuine Penn Elcom hardware. Corner handles are included to make handling and positioning more practical during load-in and pack-down. These external parts protect the high-contact areas that usually take the most wear during transport.

All panels, openings, tray positions and hardware locations are precision cut using CNC machinery to maintain accurate sizing and clean alignment. After machining, the case is assembled by trained and experienced workers who understand how control cases are used in real event environments. The finished case then goes through a standard QC process covering lid fit, hardware operation, tray movement, monitor stand function, panel alignment and overall build quality.

Flypack Layout with Monitors, Power and Patch Access

The key feature of this ETC Ion Xe road case is the flypack lighting console design. It is not just a storage box; it is built to become a working control station. The adjustable monitor stand supports two screens, giving the operator a practical viewing setup without needing to build a separate monitor frame on site.
