Custom workstation system transport cases simplifies the inventory management process, and significantly cut down warehouse preparation time, on site setup, and pack down time. This solution also reduces the chances of equipment loss as everything is mounted and wired into 1 case.
The WS-VR features a large monitor, upto 40″, on VESA mount, attached to the lid of the flight case, which is then supported via a pair of adjustable ratchet stays. These stays allows the user to adjust the lid to a suitable viewing angle depending on the work situation.
A pull out work bench in front of the screen provides ample space for video switchers, keyboard and mouse. Down below 2 bays of rack spaces allows you to mount processors and equipment to handle medium to large productions.
On the rear side of the case, you would find a removable access panel, on push to release slam latches, making rack maintenance and upgrades easy to carry out. There is a small access door with cable patch built onto the larger access panel. During normal production use, this allows power and data cables to run through the smaller trap door while keeping the entire back lid and access door shut.

Adjustable Monitor Angle
The benefit of using adjustable ratchet stays for lids with monitor mounted inside is that, well, they not only are able support the lid when opened, they also offers the extra benefit of adjusting the lid to different angle to make your life easier as a video production operator.
