Materials and Manufacturing
We use 12mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood for the exterior panels. This material is known for its resistance to moisture and temperature changes, thanks to its layered birch construction bonded with phenolic resin glue. But what really sets our cases apart is the manufacturing process. Every panel and extrusion is precision-cut using CNC machines to ensure consistent fit and finish. Our trained team assembles each case with care, following a strict quality control process that ensures durability and reliability. Whether it’s this case or any other in our lineup, the same attention to detail goes into every product we make.
Functional Features That Matter
Let’s talk about what makes this case practical. First, it features a lift-off lid design with castors built into the lid—yes, wheels in the lid! That means once the lid is off, you can still roll the case around without needing to lift it. The case also includes both front and top hinged lids, allowing easy front-loading of the mixer. This is especially helpful when you’re working in tight backstage areas or need to quickly set up and pack down.
The internal layout includes a storage compartment beneath the mixer, perfect for keeping cables, adapters, or even a snack stash (we won’t judge). The dimensions—640W x 320D x 660H mm—are truck-friendly, making it easy to load and unload during touring. At just 22.2kg, it’s lightweight enough to handle without breaking your back, but sturdy enough to protect your gear from bumps and knocks.
The case is finished with 2mm heavy-duty corner and edge extrusions, and a mix of Penn Elcom and Armor premium hardware. These components are chosen for their reliability and strength, ensuring your mixer stays safe no matter how rough the road gets.
