FENDER SUPER BASSMAN HEAD ROAD CASE WITH CASTORS AND STORAGE

Designed for the Fender Super Bassman Head

This transport case is designed to protect one Fender Super Bassman amplifier head used in live events, concerts and studio environments. It provides musicians, backline providers, venues and production crews with a practical way to move, store and protect the amp head while keeping accessories together in one road case.

The design is built around the Fender Super Bassman, though similar amplifier heads may fit with minor adjustments. Width, depth, handle position, feet, control layout, ventilation and rear connections can all affect the final fit. Even simple-looking amp heads require correct foam support, lid clearance and storage planning before the case is ready for touring.

Built and Finished for Touring Use

The exterior panels are made from 12mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. This Weather and Boil Proof plywood uses bonded hardwood layers for strong resistance to moisture, weather changes and regular transport conditions. Armor’s WBP construction uses birch veneers with phenolic resin glue, helping the case withstand movement between trucks, venues and studios.

Inside, EVA 38 foam blocks support and cushion the Fender Super Bassman during transport. The foam reduces movement and protects against knocks, vibration and handling during loading and transit.

The case is fitted with genuine Penn Elcom hardware, including 4 medium latches, 2 large recessed handles, 30mm extrusions, ball corners and 2mm heavy-duty edge protection. These components protect the structure while keeping handling practical for regular live and studio use.

All panels, foam layouts and hardware positions are CNC cut for accuracy and consistency. After machining, the case is assembled by experienced builders familiar with real-world production demands. Each unit then undergoes QC checks covering lid fit, latch action, handle placement, castor function, foam fit and overall build quality.

Castorboards, Handles and Accessory Storage

This Fender Super Bassman road case combines amp head protection, accessory storage and castor mobility. The 12mm pair castorboards with four 75mm wheels make it easier to move through venues, studios and loading areas.

Two large recessed handles provide secure grip points for lifting or repositioning when rolling isn’t possible, such as ramps, tight doors or backstage spaces.

The storage compartment holds accessories like cables, power leads and small stage items, helping keep setup organised and reducing loose gear.
