    Description

Designed for Two D&B E12-D Speakers

This transport case is designed to protect two D&B Audiotechnik E12-D speakers used in concert touring, live events and professional stage audio applications. It provides a practical storage and transport solution for audio crews, hire companies and production teams that need to move speakers safely between venues. The case measures 1023.6W × 494.8D × 818.7H mm and has a net weight of 50 kg.

Although this road case is built around the D&B E12-D, similar speakers from other brands may suit a related case design after adjustment. Cabinet width, handle position, grille shape, connector placement and accessory requirements can all affect the final fit.

    Built for Touring Conditions

The exterior panels are made from 12mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. Weather and Boil Proof plywood is made from thin layers of premium hardwood bonded with strong adhesive, giving the case panels good resistance to moisture, weather changes and regular transport conditions. Armor’s WBP plywood uses birch veneers bonded with phenolic resin glue, helping the finished case handle the movement between trucks, venues, storage areas and the occasional damp loading dock.

The case is also fitted with 2mm heavy duty corner and edge extrusions, together with genuine Penn Elcom hardware. These components help protect the areas that often take the most impact during transport. Every panel and hardware position is precision cut using CNC machinery to maintain consistent sizing and alignment. The case is then assembled by trained and experienced workers before going through a standard QC process covering fit, hardware operation, finish and overall build quality.

Four large latches keep the case securely closed during transport, while eight large handles make lifting and guiding easier for crew members. Four 100mm castors, including two braked wheels, allow smooth movement across venues and help keep the case in place when needed.

    Simple Lift Off Access

The main functional design of this D&B E12-D road case is the simple lift off lid. Once the lid is removed, the two speakers can be accessed clearly and removed without dealing with awkward case sections. This helps make setup and pack-down more straightforward, especially when crews are working under time pressure.

The case is designed to store two speakers in one transport unit, keeping the pair together during loading, storage and event preparation. That is useful for production teams that like their gear to arrive as a set, instead of playing the classic backstage game of “where did the other one go?”

    Stackable with Accessory Storage

The stackable design makes this D&B Audiotechnik speaker case more practical for truck packing and warehouse organisation. When multiple cases are in use, stackable sizing helps keep transport layouts cleaner and more predictable. That can make a real difference when a truck pack needs to make sense at 1:00 am after a long show.

There is also storage space for accessories, which can be used for items such as cables, small covers or related speaker hardware. Keeping these items with the speakers helps reduce loose gear and makes the case more useful as a complete touring solution. For audio crews working across regular events, the combination of secure speaker storage, lift off access, large handles, castor mobility and accessory space makes this D&B E12-D road case a practical choice for professional use.
