This transport case is designed to protect two NEXO ID84 speakers used in concert touring, live events and professional stage audio. It gives production companies, audio hire teams and touring crews a practical way to move and store two large speakers together in one road case. The case measures 1478.4W × 409.4D × 523.7H mm and has a net weight of 47.2 kg.

The design is built around the NEXO ID84, using a flat storage layout that suits its long cabinet shape. Similar large speakers from other brands may fit with slight adjustments, as cabinet size, handle position and mounting points can vary. Large speakers often look simple until it is time to fit them neatly into a case.

Built and Finished for Touring Use

The exterior panels are made from 9mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. Weather and Boil Proof plywood is made from thin layers of premium hardwood bonded with strong adhesive, offering good resistance to moisture, weather changes and regular transport conditions. Armor’s WBP plywood uses birch veneers bonded with phenolic resin glue, helping the case handle movement between trucks, venues and storage areas.

The case is fitted with 2mm heavy duty corner and edge extrusions along with genuine Penn Elcom hardware. These parts protect the areas that take the most impact during transport. All panels and hardware positions are precision cut using CNC machinery to maintain consistent sizing and alignment.

Each case is assembled by experienced workers and goes through a standard QC process covering lid fit, hardware operation and overall build quality. The aim is to deliver a case that is ready for regular touring use without extra adjustments.

Flat Storage with Lift Off Tray

The key feature of this NEXO ID84 road case is the lift off tray design that stores two speakers in flat positions. This is useful because the ID84 speakers can be difficult to store upright due to their height. Laying them flat creates a more manageable transport format while keeping the pair together.

Once the lid is removed, the lift off tray allows clear access for loading and removal. This makes setup and pack-down easier, especially when crews are working quickly between locations. It also avoids the usual struggle of trying to store tall speakers upright.
