Designed for the Peavey Classic 50 Amplifier
This transport case is designed to protect one Peavey Classic 50 amplifier used in concert touring, live events and studio environments. It gives musicians, backline providers, venues and production crews a practical way to move, store and protect the amplifier while keeping related accessories together in one road case.
The design is built around the Peavey Classic 50, but similar amplifier models may suit a related case layout after slight adjustment. Amplifier width, depth, handle position, feet, control layout and rear connection access can all affect the final fit. Guitar amps can look simple from the outside, but the case still needs to agree with the shape, controls, foam and hardware before everything closes properly.
Built and Finished for Touring Use
The exterior panels are made from 12mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood. Weather and Boil Proof plywood is made from thin layers of premium hardwood bonded with strong adhesive, giving the panels good resistance to moisture, weather changes and regular transport conditions. Armor’s WBP plywood uses birch veneers bonded with phenolic resin glue, helping the finished case handle movement between trucks, venues, studios and storage areas.
Inside the case, EVA 38 foam blocks are used to help support and cushion the Peavey Classic 50 during transport. The foam blocks help reduce movement inside the case and provide protection against knocks, vibration and general handling during loading, unloading and transit.
The case is fitted with genuine Penn Elcom hardware, 4 medium latches, 2 large recessed handles, 30mm extrusions and ball corners. These parts help protect the case structure while keeping handling practical for regular touring, live event and studio work. All panels and hardware positions are precision cut using CNC machinery for accurate sizing and consistent alignment.
After machining, the case is assembled by trained and experienced workers who understand how amplifier cases are handled in real production environments. The finished case then goes through a standard QC process covering lid fit, latch operation, handle placement, castor function, foam fit and overall build quality.
Castors, Handles and Accessory Storage
A key functional feature of this Peavey Classic 50 road case is the pair castorboard fitted with four 75mm castor wheels, including two braked wheels. This makes the case easier to move through venues, studios, rehearsal spaces and loading areas, while the braked castors help keep it positioned when parked.
The two large recessed handles provide proper grip points when the case needs to be lifted, guided or repositioned. This is useful when rolling is not possible, especially around ramps, truck edges, stairs or tight venue spaces where every doorway seems designed to test the crew’s patience.
The case also includes storage for accessories, helping keep cables, power leads and small items with the amplifier. For musicians and production crews, this reduces loose gear and makes setup more organised from one job to the next.
For touring crews, venues, studios and backline providers, this Peavey Classic 50 amp road case focuses on protection, mobility and workflow. The EVA foam support, recessed handles, accessory storage, castorboard and durable hardware all work together to make amplifier transport easier while keeping the Classic 50 protected between shows.
