This cabinet road case with removable shelving is built for transport situations where fixed interiors are not practical. It is designed to be used in touring productions, props transport, medical logistics, scientific equipment handling and technical field work, where both protection and organization are essential.
The modular shelving system allows the interior to be adapted for different types of equipment, from instruments and electronic devices to boxed or irregular-shaped items. This flexibility makes it suitable for projects where load requirements change regularly, reducing the need for multiple dedicated cases.
Built for Heavy Duty Transport Conditions
The case is manufactured using 12mm Weather and Boil Proof (WBP) birch plywood. Weather and Boil Proof (WBP) plywood are made of thin layers of premium hardwood and glue for strong resistant to water and weather. Armor’s WBP plywood are made of birch veneers bonded by phenolic resin glue, ensuring long-term durability in demanding transport environments.
It is reinforced with 2mm heavy-duty corner and edge extrusions and fitted with Penn Elcom hardware for reliable performance during repeated handling and transit.
Each unit is CNC precision cut for accuracy and assembled by experienced technicians, followed by a full quality control inspection to ensure consistent build standards before dispatch.
Removable Shelving and Functional Design
The key feature of this cabinet road case is its removable shelving system, offering 30 slot positions in total, with 15 slots on each side. This configuration creates 14 usable shelf spaces, with a height of 60mm between each shelf, allowing internal panels to be positioned at different heights to suit varying equipment layouts.
A front split lid provides fast access to the interior, making loading and unloading more efficient in busy operational environments. Integrated castors improve mobility when handling heavy loads across warehouses, venues or field locations.
With overall dimensions of 830W × 1560D × 1380H mm and a net weight of approximately 166kg, this road case delivers a practical combination of protection, flexibility and organization for professional transport applications.
