This is a back plate suitable for H1101 medium recessed handle. It helps to strengthen the handle even more.

Surface mount handles are great for simple road case designs without cuts within the panels, unlike recessed handles.
While not ideal for road cases that needs to be transported in a truck as the handles would stick out, they are more than enough for lightweight cases that can travel with its owner.
The grips are coated in rubber to make carrying road cases a more comfortable experience.
